You are aware that the Indian Transformer Manufacturers Association (ITMA) a national association established in 1979 is an all India body representing 90% production of the Transformers in the country with an objective of promoting the interest of Transformer manufacturers and its Allied Industries and to voice the problems of the Industry with the Government of India, State Governments, State Distribution Companies and the Utilities.

You may be aware that our Association functions only on "no profit or loss basis" and depends solely upon the contribution of annual subscription by the members. We greatly value your membership of ITMA and believe that without your participation and guidance we could not have achieved what we are today at National level in Power Sector. ITMA, with the support from all its members, work closely with the Central and State Governments especially power departments. We stay committed to work for the benefit of Indian Transformer and its ancillary industries. You would appreciate that various costs for viz., salaries, wages, conveyance, stationery, Printing/ Postage & Meetings etc., has increased manifold during the past 2/3 years. But still we are managing to run the activities within the given financial constraint and kept the advertisement charges at the old tariff.

The printing and distribution of the magazine was placed under suspension, because of lockdown imposed due to COVID-19 Pandemic, It has now been decided to continue the printing and distribution of the magazine from September/October 2024 onwards.
ITMA for the last 45 years has been bringing out a Bi-monthly journal after every two months which is extensively distributed in the Power Sector, Transformer Industry particularly to our Members/Non-Members, SEBs, Utilities, GENCOS, TRANSCOS, DISCOMS. Besides, it is also widely sought after by all Technocrats, Electrical Industries, Prominent Consultants, and Suppliers, Financial Institutions, and Energy Planners, R&D organizations, Central & State Govt. Undertakings/PSUs and NABL Members, Indian Embassies Abroad, Foreign Mission in India, Corporate Houses and Others.
